ISBE at APD Cycles: Strategies for Real Blockchain Profitability

The ISBE team, represented by our Executive Director, Miguel Ángel Calero Fernández, recently participated in the event organized by APD and RSM: “Blockchain in the Enterprise: From Disruption to Real Profitability. Strategies to Compete in the New Economy.”
An expert panel on the new digital economy
The session, moderated by Pedro Sandoval (Director of Blockchain & Digital Assets at RSM), featured industry leaders such as Javier Gispert Rubio (Reental), Carlos Fernández Herraiz (Tritemius), and Abel Peña (Bit2Me). During the discussion, successful use cases in real estate tokenization, the impact of stablecoins, and the evolution of the European regulatory framework were analyzed, highlighting how on-chain solutions and digital identity are drastically reducing verification times.
ISBE: Infrastructure for the transition to production
Miguel Ángel Calero focused his intervention on the value of ISBE as a public-permissioned infrastructure specifically designed for enterprises and public administrations. Its architecture is fully aligned with key regulations such as GDPR, MiCA, and DORA, enabling projects to make the critical transition from experimental pilots to real production environments.
The future of digital identity
A key topic of the session was the digital identity roadmap. Its role as a driver of automation was emphasized, anticipating the launch of the national wallet by 2026 and the business wallet by 2028—tools that will eliminate operational friction and transform asset management.
The session concluded with a strategic reflection: business competitiveness will depend on the integration of digital assets into regulated, secure, and scalable infrastructures.
