ISBE at the LF Decentralized Trust Members Summit

ISBE’s participation in the LF Decentralized Trust Members Summit, represented by Miguel Ángel Calero Fernández, was a valuable opportunity to share key insights on how the blockchain ecosystem is evolving and being adopted in regulated environments.
A special thank you to the Linux Foundation Decentralized Trust team — Daniela Barbosa, David Boswell, Karen L. Ottoni, Tomaz Sedej, and Hart Montgomery — for creating a high-quality space for strategic dialogue.
One of the summit’s most important messages was the confirmation that the blockchain ecosystem is not moving toward a single global public network, but rather toward multiple infrastructures tailored to specific jurisdictions, regulatory frameworks, and use cases. This is particularly relevant in areas where compliance is critical, such as tokenized assets, stablecoins, CBDCs, and other regulated financial instruments.
The discussions also highlighted the transition from pilot projects to production environments, emphasizing the need for robust governance, interoperability, and sustainability models. We also observed growing recognition of ISBE as a benchmark for blockchain infrastructures — both public and permissioned — focused on real-world implementation and grounded in the experience and community built through Alastria.
The summit featured strategically significant conversations, including a panel moderated by Jennifer M. O’Rourke of LayerZero Labs, with DJ Kruitbosch of Blockchain for Energy, Marcello Gracietti of Cheesecake Labs, and Lior Glass of Oracle, addressing a pragmatic outlook on the evolution of tokenization.
Additional discussions with Rob Dawson of ConsenSys, Sophia Lopez and Peter Broadhurst of Kaleido, Juan José Miranda del Solar of NTT DATA, Samuel Venzi of GoLedger, and Alexandre Kech of the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation provided valuable perspectives on governance, adoption, and interoperability in regulated environments.
