The International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the UN agency specializing in digital technologies, will host the fifth edition of X.509 Day on May 12 in Geneva. This event is one of the world's most significant gatherings on digital identity, network trust, and secure infrastructures in the era of artificial intelligence.
ISBE will be featured during the presentation by Ignacio Alamillo, an expert in digital identity, cryptography, and a member of several standardization bodies related to Blockchain. In his talk, he will discuss the ISBE infrastructure as a model for implementing hybrid trust frameworks in regulated environments.
The meeting will bring together representatives from regulatory bodies, major tech corporations, mobile network operators, and cybersecurity experts from around the globe. This year's agenda focuses on three major current challenges: building decentralized identity infrastructures, preparing digital systems for quantum computing threats, and establishing robust trust frameworks in a world where artificial intelligence agents operate autonomously
