Alastria holds its 2026 General Assembly with ISBE as one key landmark achievement of the year

Alastria Blockchain Ecosystem convened its 2026 General Assembly to review a year defined by the launch of ISBE, the Spanish Blockchain Services Infrastructure.

The launch of ISBE stands as the year's milestone. More than 30 organisations, 190 professionals and 90,000 hours of work have made possible the first national blockchain infrastructure of its kind in Spain and Europe — a project that places the country on the European map of digital sovereignty.

The Assembly also provided an opportunity to review the activity of Alastria's committees, commissions and working groups, ongoing European projects, communication and outreach initiatives, and the financial results of the period. An intensive year, backed by more than 400 members from 20 sectors working towards a common goal.

Alastria and ISBE extend their gratitude to all members, collaborators and teams for their commitment to this collective endeavour. Work continues to accelerate blockchain adoption through robust, interoperable infrastructures built for the challenges ahead.
