ISBE DemoDay: Blockchain with Purpose and Real-world Deployment in Spain

The ISBE DemoDay marked a turning point for the blockchain ecosystem in Spain. During the event, 12 of the first 20 use cases that will soon operate on the Spanish Blockchain Services Infrastructure (ISBE) were presented. These projects share a common mission: to demonstrate how blockchain can solve specific problems across key sectors with solutions aligned with European regulatory frameworks and designed for real-world adoption.

Use cases shaping the future of ISBE The presented projects span diverse fields such as finance, education, agrifood, logistics, advertising, and data analytics. These are some of the initial initiatives forming part of ISBE's early deployment:

• Accuro Technology: Instant and secure digital payments over blockchain to improve financial efficiency.
• Bit2Me: An infrastructure proposal for future stock markets under the "Stock Exchange 3.0" concept.
• Digitanimal: Blockchain traceability applied to the livestock sector, enhancing safety and operational efficiency.
• Future Space: Mitigation of spam and unsolicited calls through digital traceability.
• Changetheblock: A platform to simplify blockchain adoption and automate business processes.
• SmartDegrees: Digital academic credentials and verifiable portfolios to boost employability.
• Token City: Issuance and management of blockchain bonds, bringing tokenization closer to the debt market.
• iCommunity: Digital product passports to strengthen supply chain traceability.
• Lyseis: Legal application of blockchain to establish verifiable standards of digital trust.
• Adwatch: Full traceability of advertising impressions to prevent fraud in the adtech sector.
• Collisio Technologies: Accessible on-chain financial analytics for analysts and local infrastructures.
• STAMP: A blockchain platform to interconnect customs and facilitate frictionless Tax-Free processes.

An infrastructure with a national vision The DemoDay, held at Digitaliza Madrid, reflects the consolidation of ISBE as a public-permissioned blockchain infrastructure, promoted by the Community of Madrid and executed by Alastria. Its purpose is clear: to offer a secure, interoperable, and affordable network that facilitates the development of reliable digital services for companies, administrations, and citizens.
