ISBE presented its Minimum Viable Product and prepares to become Spain's blockchain infrastructure

ISBE, promoted by the Community of Madrid alongside Alastria and funded by the EU (Next Generation EU), has presented its Minimum Viable Product (MVP). The project aims to create a national blockchain network aligned with the European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI), complying with regulations such as GDPR and eIDAS2, and offering a secure environment for both public and private applications.
Unlike other networks, ISBE integrates legal validity, decentralized governance, and technical adaptability from its design, enabling the development of innovative projects with legal guarantees. Its MVP includes a robust deployment with nodes across different clouds, as well as real-time observability and alerts to ensure its reliability.
Aimed at SMEs, large corporations, universities, and public administrations, ISBE facilitates the use of technologies such as smart contracts and APIs, reducing costs and technical barriers. Furthermore, it represents a strategic commitment to European technological sovereignty, positioning Spain as a leader in regulated blockchain.
