Cookies policy

Alastria Network Consortium (hereinafter, "Alastria") informs you that this website uses cookies and similar technologies in order to improve your browsing experience, analyse the use of the website and offer you personalised content, always with your prior consent, except in the case of strictly necessary technical cookies.

What are cookies?

Cookies are text files that a website installs in the user's browser when visiting certain pages. These tools allow a website, among other things, to store and retrieve information about users' browsing habits, recognise their device and, in some cases, identify the user. Depending on the information they contain and the way you use your device, they may be used for a wide range of purposes, from enabling basic site functions to profiling for analytical or advertising purposes.

Types of cookies used

This website uses both own and third-party cookies. First-party cookies are those sent from a domain managed by redisbe.com and from which the service requested by the user is provided. Third-party cookies are those sent from a different domain, managed by another entity, which processes the data obtained through cookies.

In terms of their duration, this site may use session cookies, which disappear when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which are stored for a certain period of time even after you have closed your session. Depending on their purpose, this site may use the following categories of cookies:

  • Technical or necessary cookies, which enable browsing and the use of the site's basic functionalities, such as cookie consent management, login or session security. These cookies do not require prior consent. The storage period shall be the minimum necessary, generally not exceeding 6-12 months, depending on their purpose.
  • Analysis or measurement cookies, which enable the collection of aggregate statistical information on user activity on the website, such as the pages visited, the time spent, the browser used or the approximate location of the user. These cookies are only set if you expressly agree to them. These cookies will be kept for a period of two (2) years.
  • Social media cookies, which allow the integration of the site with platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube or Twitter, and may involve the transmission of information to these platforms. The installation of these cookies is also subject to your consent. These cookies will be kept for a period of two (2) years.

This website uses, among others, the Google Analytics service, provided by Google LLC, to analyse user behaviour. With this service, data such as number of visitors, approximate geographic origin, browsing time and other aggregated metrics are collected. To protect your privacy, the IP address is anonymised by truncating it before it is stored, so that it cannot be directly associated with a specific user. Google will not use this information for its own purposes, unless legally obliged to do so, nor will it associate this information with any other data held by Google.

Social media and analysis cookies may be used to create aggregated usage profiles in order to improve the content offered and, where appropriate, to display advertising related to your preferences. No automated decisions are taken that have legal effects or significantly affect the user, in accordance with Article 22 of the GDPR.

In addition, a technical cookie is used to remember whether the user has accepted or rejected the use of cookies, so that the warning banner is not shown repeatedly on each visit.

Consent management

The cookie notice displayed when you first access the website includes three clearly visible options:

  • Accept cookies: you consent to the installation of all non-technical cookies.
  • Reject cookies: reject all non-technical cookies.
  • Configure cookies: allows you to accept or reject cookies by category (analysis, social media, etc.) in a granular manner.

Under no circumstances will non-technical cookies be installed without your prior consent. At any time, the user can return to this configuration panel to modify their consent via the permanent link available at the bottom of the page.

International data transfers

Alastria does not carry out transfers to third countries.

Some third-party cookies may involve international data transfers, as is the case for Google Analytics, whose provider is Google LLC, located in the United States.

Such transfers are covered by the signature of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (Article 46 of the GDPR). You can read more about this in the Google Analytics privacy policy.

In the absence of an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, we inform you that there is a potential risk that data may be accessed by US authorities for security purposes without effective complaint mechanisms available to you.

Changes to the cookies policy

Alastria may update this Cookies Policy at any time as a result of regulatory or technical changes.

When this happens, the user will be informed by means of a notice on the website and, where appropriate, consent will be requested for the new cookies affected.

For more information about the processing of your personal data, you can consult our Privacy Policy.
